From top to bottom and front to back, this is a masterpiece through and through. The beautiful designed burned into the wood provides an added flare to the already stunning top. It's not too flashy, but was clearly done with a lot of care and is a unique addition and splash of pop to the aesthetic. Add to that the incredible flame figuring on the French ash and the flame maple neck and everything has a really nice cohesion and fits together nicely.
But, of course, looking great is only the first part of the equation here. The build quality and overall construction are absolutely to die for. Everything is simply perfect on it. The bass plays like butter and sounds like thunder! The Thumb is one of Warwick's most popular models and definitely is a lot more versatile than the model name might imply. Used by everyone from funkers to metal rockers, the Thumb is going to give you a tight, defined, punchy, and growly bass tone that can also be tamed with the onboard electronics, if needed.
The custom shop department took a classic Warwick model and put a beautiful spin on it. It was exclusively built as a Warwick showpiece bass, which they kept for themselves for a bit, but we immediately scooped it up as soon as it became available to dealers. A beautiful addition to any collector's arsenal, this is an unrivaled, unique, and beautiful take on their classic Thumb design.
