For a lot of players, German-made Warwicks are the holy grail of the low-end world. This Corvette $$ 5 string is a pristine, meticulously crafted instrument that represents over 30 years of tweaking, dialing in, and perfecting. This is one of those instruments that wins you over before you even get a note out.
The balance of the body, the smoothness of the neck, the masterful craftsmanship in the frets - you know you're holding something special before any music happens. The sound of this bass is enormous. It has a punchy and growly low end that cuts right through the mix, beefy but clean mids and an articulate top end. It sounds great in the practice room going through a wall of speakers, it sounds great in the studio, and absolutely kills in live situations. The neck is extremely comfortable and will immediately befriend your playing hand. Exhaustive tonal controls, extremely high-quality hardware and a nice simple finish top off the package.
