The SBMM LK100D is based on the Music Man® LIII, and is true to every detail of its Music Man® counterpart.

From its “push-push” active boost on the Volume control, passive tone control, 5-way balanced switching, classic “V” contoured neck with 12” radius, and its Sterling By Music Man® Vintage Tremolo set to Luke’s personal specifications for full step and a half bends, LK100D is a “players player” guitar!

DiMarzio Transition Neck & Bridge Model pickups were designed for Steve Lukather and Luke's new LIII Music Man Guitar.

SBMM Locking Tuners:

The LK100D features high quality, die-cast, locking tuning machines for hassle free, stable tuning.

Battery Door:

Quick release, rear-mounted battery door for easy access.

Custom SBMM Designed Active Preamp:

Push/push volume for gain boost, 500kohm passive tone – .022μF tone capacitor.

Tremolo:

Set to Steve Lukather's personal playing preference and specifications, the LK100D "Vintage Tremolo" bridge allows for a full 1 1/2 step up pulls, "Flutter" effect, of a full dive.
