Player's Perspective
Elegant, sleek, curvy, and filled with attitude... Just the way we like 'em. This Swan is a gorgeous example of the adventurous builds coming out of the Skervesen shop in Poland.
The guitar is a real ripper! The neck is thin and super fast to maneuver around on. Even if you've never dabbled in the world of fanned frets before you'll likely find the adjustment period to be extremely minimal. Just close your eyes and play it as if it were any guitar you've ever owned before. Your fingers will almost always still end up in the right place and it takes virtually no effort to adapt to it. The trade-off is huge and so well worth it! What you get from this sort of design is a guitar that has the tension for every string on the guitar perfectly balanced. Even if you drop-tune you'll still have a tight and punchy response on the bass strings while your treble strings will still have some body and depth to them so the notes aren't too thin or shrill.
The BKP Aftermath pickups are designed for the modern day metal shredder. They are overwound, high output, and are absolutely lightning fast in their response time. If you're into gain and you like it hot, then these Aftermath pickups are where it's at. A big, but tight bottom end, punchy and focused mid-range, and articulate highs, you have to put in some serious effort to try to make these sound muddy. They're very defined. They almost have a similar vibe to active pickups but without the hassle of needing a battery.
This guitar is ready to melt faces all night long and thanks to it's lightweight and ergonomic design, it's very easy to do just that. The construction is incredible! So you can get your action really low and effortlessly shred away. The weight is under 7 lbs so even if you're playing a really long show, you don't have to worry about shoulder or back fatigue. Overall this is a guitar that's meant to be by your side through thick and thin and will always deliver.
