Built for the rocker that needs an aggressive and in-your-face tone coming out of a masterfully built instrument, the Nighthawk Plus is just that and then some! The Black Label pickups are articulate and pack a ton of punch. Whether you're loading them up with distortion to get really heavy or your playing clean but need to cut through a mix full of distorted guitarists and loud drummers, this bass is the way to go! The sound is hot but also easily manipulated using the new, revamped, 3-Band EQ that helps you dial in exactly what you need without ever having to turn to your amp.
We've always been thoroughly impressed with the build quality on Sandberg basses. Now there's an offering for those that need to rock out even harder and need a more modern and more aggressive sound that takes no prisoners. While I think that Sandberg had hard rock and metal players in mind when they designed this, it's also found a strong following among gospel and R&B players that are also looking for a bass tone that will stand out.
