Player's Perspective

It doesn't get any better than this gorgeous Sunset Custom HSS in Electric Magenta from the Schecter Custom Shop. The best luthiers they've got went to work on this one and the result is exquisite. The guitar, of course, looks beautiful and vibrant, but the tone and playability are just as noteworthy!

The pickups are a beautiful mix of vintage and modern sounds. It's definitely a very versatile guitar. If you want to dial up the gain, the bridge pickup can handle it with ease. If you want to tone it down a bit and play it clean, it'll do that beautifully as well with the bright and snappy single-coils. Mix and match the tones as you please for what is truly a vast tonal pallet all under your fingertips.

Pasadena Plus Humbucker
Originally designed as a custom pickup up for Avenged Sevenfold's Zacky Vengeance, the Pasadena Plus is a powerful, aggressive and driven pickup. It's no wonder it was our "go-to" pickup to be loaded stock into our Diamond Series Custom collection. Built with 4 conductor wiring, its versatility has expanded twice over, allowing for many options that range from thick and crunchy to jangley and bright. And while our Pasadena Classis is an already beefed up favorite, the Pasadena Plus pushes the same characteristics even harder.

Pasadena VS-1 Single-Coils
The Pasadena VS-1 features a precise blend of the proper gauge magnet wire and hand beveled alnico magnets, that brings out the expected lush clean tones while providing the full voodoo when played through an overdriven valve amp. It's even height-calibrated magnetic field provides the proper string sensitivity for modern and vintage gauged strings alike. Combined with our matching calibrated neck and RWRP middle pickups, this set can get you there and back from the Isle of White to the Fillmore.
