Touch Block helps you adjust the expressive behavior of your Seaboard Block and Lightpad Block. Turn up or turn down the responsiveness of the surface to the Strike, Glide, Slide, Press, and Lift dimensions of touch. Maximize the depth of expression available through pressure, or minimize the pitch-bend effect of sideways movements. Strike – Adjust the responsiveness of the Lightpad or Seaboard Block surfaces to the velocity of strike

Glide – Adjust the responsiveness of the Lightpad or Seaboard Block surfaces to side-to-side movements, usually mapped to pitch

Slide – Adjust the responsiveness of the Lightpad or Seaboard Block surfaces to up-and-down movements that open or close a variety of filters

Press – Adjust the responsiveness of the Lightpad or Seaboard Block surfaces to continuous pressure

Lift – Adjust the responsiveness of the Lightpad or Seaboard Block surfaces to the velocity of liftoff, which affects resonance
