Music Store Live is proud to welcome Relish Guitars to the family. Expertly and precisely crafted over in Switzerland, we were first blown away at some of the modern and innovative features of this guitar, but then we were equally impressed with the playability and overall construction quality.
The guitar is unlike anything we've ever seen before. It seems futuristic and new age but is also very easy and simple to use. Through some sort of magic wizardry, they've found a way to put pickups into these magnetic housings that allow you to swap them in and out of the guitar on the fly. You can literally change from humbuckers to P90s in between songs if you need to. Quickly pop the magnetic back off and it takes about 5 seconds to swap them out (if that). It's really something out of this world. You can easily adjust the pickup height as well using a thumbwheel.
When people talk about "one guitar to rule them all" or trying to find that "forever" guitar that's going to accomplish everything that they need to, I don't think anybody had this in mind. But the folks over at Relish did and what they've come up with is truly incredible. In addition to that, there's a piezo pickup as well that only further adds to the absolute wealth of tones that you can get from this guitar. The mid-range boost on the piezo volume knob is a cool push/pull feature as well. It lets your piezo tone really cut through and punches it forward in the mix a good bit more.
This guitar plays incredibly well and has the potential for versatility the likes of which we've never seen or experienced before with the ability to swap out the pickups so quickly and easily. This is what innovation looks like in a guitar, right here.
Manufacturer's Description
Mary One is Mary's flamboyant younger sibling. Using a milled aluminum center body with wood veneer top and a magnetically attached back that removes easily for instant access to the internal electronics, the Mary One has a unique semi-hollow body warmth and resonance. A piezo pickup in the bridge enables the player to blend in acoustic sound, or use the stereo output to keep electric and acoustic sounds separate. The Relish-designed, custom wound Bucker XV pickups provide an excellent base, but the guitar's design enable other pickups to be swapped in almost instantly, even in the midst of a performance. Includes hardshell case.
