Paoletti guitars are absolutely extraordinary boutique guitars with a unique take on a tried and true, classic design. The stunning natural chestnut grain of this Stratospheric Wine SSS is simply gorgeous.

The playability is absolutely off the charts. The roasted maple neck and ebony fingerboard make clear that they're handmade, as the meticulous attention to detail in crafting them is immediately evident. The fretwork, which needs to be of the highest standard for a guitar of this price point, more than meets expectations - the craftsmanship is something to marvel at and the neck is expertly carved from top to bottom.

Tonally, this guitar is an old-school, yet optimized "S" type axe through and through. It's vintage in tone and modern in feel. The neck pup is rich, warm, and creamy. The middle gives you some twang and spank while still having a good bit of bass response as well. The pickups are hand-wound, which gives them a lot of the same sort of magic that was found in some of the most iconic guitars of yesteryear. Special for this one is a Seymour Duncan Little '59 in the bridge position, which Paoletti turned to to give this guitar an extra shot of higher-output PAF juice in a single-coil format.

Very fittingly, this one also errs on the hot-rodded side in the hardware specs as well, as it comes with an original Schaller Lockmeister double-locking tremolo and nut for all of your pitch-bending acrobatics.

Handmade in Italy by master builder Fabrizio Paoletti, these really are special instruments that have that "masterbuilt" vibe, and this one is no exception. This is much more than just a cool instrument to look at. It's a guitar that really gets the job done and sounds absolutely phenomenal!

Who needs a Ferrari when you can have the Ferrari of guitars?

What makes a Paoletti guitar unique is the careful selection and use of aged chestnut woods, preserved and reclaimed from our 130+ year old wine barrels. The vibrations that a chestnut body generates is one of a kind in frequency, harmony, and offers tonal sustain across the full harmonic spectrum.

Here is a Paoletti Stratospheric Wine Series equipped with a Roasted Maple neck, original Schaller Lockmeister tremolo, and Paoletti OEM hardware.

Paoletti Pickups are handmade and manufactured 100% in house. Wired to the guitar's electronics with a 22 AWG tinned cloth wire, each pickup is coated with a wax layer to maintain integrity and to protect from any external interference. And best of all, they're built to last!

Onboard this model, Mr. Paoletti has chosen to feature 2 Paoletti 60's – 7.5K Alnico 5 single-coil pickups and a Seymour Duncan Little '59. CRL switch and CTS pots ensure an accurate selection of your desired tone.

The Stratospheric Wine SSS guarantees satisfaction for every musician looking to own a real piece of our family's history and for that one-of-a-kind guitar that really stands out from the crowd.
