Player's Perspective

Music Store Live is proud to welcome Paoletti Guitars into the family. Handmade over in Italy these are absolutely extraordinary boutique guitars with a unique take on a tried and true, classic design. This one comes from their Loft series and has a beautiful silvery violet finish with just enough relic that lets you see some of the chestnut wood underneath the finish. It's really beautiful and we're continuously impressed with the level of quality in every Paoletti build.

The playability is absolutely off the charts and this is one of the smoothest playing bolt-on guitars we've come across. It truly feels like a handmade guitar (because it is truly handmade) in all of the best ways. The meticulous attention to detail is immediately evident. This is much more than just a cool instrument to look at. It really gets the job done and sounds absolutely phenomenal! The fretwork is something to marvel at and the neck is expertly carved from top to bottom.

As far as the tone, it sounds like an old-school strat through and through. The bridge pickup is plenty bright but doesn't sound like an ice pick going through your eardrums, which is awesome. The neck pup is rich, warm, and creamy. The middle gives you some twang and spank while still having a good bit of bass response as well. The pickups are handmade, which gives them a lot of the same sort of magic that was found in some of the most iconic Strats of yesteryear. They're designed to sound like a beautiful vintage single-coil set and they pull it off wonderfully. With every aspect of this guitar, it's extremely evident that each person that had a hand in building this takes immense pride in their contribution. Everything is done very precisely and carefully thought out. Who needs a Ferrari when you can have the Ferrari of guitars? hehe

Handmade in Italy by master builder Paoletti Fabrizio, these really are special instruments that have that "masterbuilt" feel to them.
