These are absolutely extraordinary boutique guitars with a unique take on a tried and true, classic design.
We loved the cool black over sunburst finish that Paoletti applied to this. The feel of the entire instrument is divine, and the neck is a true playground for your fretting hand. The roasted flame maple looks incredible and feels even better. The action is nice and low and the fretwork is immaculate from top to bottom. The meticulous attention to detail is immediately evident. This is much more than just a cool instrument to look at (the figuring on the neck and fretboard really is spectacular). It's a guitar that really gets the job done and sounds absolutely phenomenal!
Tonally, the HSH pickups are going to pump some nice power into your pedals and the front end of your amp. It's definitely a rocker's guitar through and through. But what we we really like about it is that you can also clean up the sound nicely and it won't sound nasally and thin. So whether you're loading up your tone with saturation and high gain or need to clean things up a bit, you'll still have a full and lush tone. Think "classic rock" and that's the sound that just oozes out of this guitar.
Who needs a Ferrari when you can have the Ferrari of guitars? hehe
Handmade in Italy by master builder Paoletti Fabrizio, these really are special instruments that have that "masterbuilt" feel to them.
