The Fishman F1 system lets you plug in and play right away with very little tweaking. The open position is balanced and warm, great for constructing chords and playing rhythm. The mid to upper registers take kindly to single note playing - if you're an acoustic blues player, you'll love the way this guitar responds to expressive nuances all over the board. It's an incredibly dynamic playing and feeling guitar. You can really feel it "breathe" in your hands. At 1 3/4", the nut width is in that sweet spot that keeps everyone happy - it's wide enough for fingerpickers, but slim enough for flatpickers and strummers. This GPCPA4 is based on the Grand Performance 14 Fret Cutaway body shape giving easy access all the way up to the 20th fret. It has a solid Sitka Spruce top that contributes to the dynamics and snap of the guitar, with solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides The Hybrid "X" Scalloped bracing and the top Sitka spruce braces contribute to the overall projection and string balance of the instrument. The simplified Fishman F1 Analog pickup system lets you plug and play with little fuss.
