The Jabba Custom 4 is a modern J-Bass player's dream. 

The Mayones VELVETRONE Gallant 4 pickups serve up all the classic "J" tone you need with a modern edge. It's that classic 70's J-Bass tone you've heard countless times (think Marcus Miller). Pair that with the Mayones 3-band preamp that boosts (or cuts) the bass and treble EQs at just the right frequencies, and it's a recipe for tonal success. The preamp is very transparent and hi-fi sounding. But if you want to go a little more old-school, that's in there, too - you can bypass the preamp and play the bass in passive mode.

The neck is extremely fast, thin, and flat. It feels awesome and the overall construction of it, especially the fretwork, is extremely precise and allows for this bass to achieve crazy low action. A specially-contoured neck heel for easy upper-fret access, absolutely expert craftsmanship and overall meticulous attention to detail help make this one of the best modern J-style basses on the market!
