ESP LTD EC-1000 Electric Guitar, Vintage Black, Seymour Duncan, LEC1000VBDR, B-Stock

$799.00

Player's Perspective

If Randy Rhoads invented the single-cut design, it would look, feel and sound like this guitar. This thing is a beast from every angle: It's built like a tank, it has stellar electronics that you usually only find on more expensive models, and the neck is lightning fast. Most guitars that are geared toward heavier or faster styles try to strip off as much body wood as possible, but ESP knows their tone better than that. Nothing is better for huge, tight lows and screaming highs than a nice fat chunk of mahogany, and ESP has done a great job of balancing that with comfort and incredible playability. It's perfect for metal, but it'll work for pretty much anything rock or blues flavored as well. Slap on a price tag roughly half of what this axe should cost, and you're looking at one of the best deals on the market.

Special Features

This ESP LTD EC-1000 features a mahogany body with a vintage black finish. The maple set neck is a thin U shape, and it sports a rosewood board with 24 extra jumbo frets. The body, neck and headstock have gold binding, which looks great. Electronically, this guitar is ready to do some damage. There is a Seymour Duncan SH-4 in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-1 in the neck. This is a perfect setup that can run the gamut from warm, rolled-off blues to over the top shred and everything in between. The TonePros bridge and tailpiece along with the LTD locking tuners will keep everything in tune, no matter how you play.

This guitar will breathe new life into any rig, and you'll still have plenty of money left over for that next amp or pedalboard. A great buy all around.

Overall Condition

Music Store Live is proud to be an authorized dealer for ESP. This is a New #2 B-Stock Guitar with the original box and paperwork. ESP is very picky about its product quality, a little dis-colored tiny spot or blemish or little finish run on the finish of the guitar. A lot of times we can't even tell what the difference is between these and the A-stock guitars, but despite any blemishes, they sound, feel, and look amazing!

note: The photos above may not be of the exact guitar you'll receive. The serial number may differ but specs will all be the same. Please feel free to get in touch with us for an in-hand description.

Our in-house guitar tech will inspect, test, set up, and clean all of our instruments on site prior to shipping. All of our instruments are guaranteed to be fully functional upon arrival.
