This is a beautiful model Kala that calls "Sweet Pea". It's certainly sweet in look and tone. Lets go over some of the features that make this new tenor so beautiful.

This uke has all solid wood Acacia framed off with a sexy padauk binding and shown off with a wonderful glassy lacquer finish. Padauk is bound up the rosewood fretboard and used for oval inlayed fretmarkers. There is also a layer of padauk under the acacia faceplate overlay almost giving the appearance of headstock binding. I thought that was clever and overall it is just a classy looking instrument.
