The JEM neck is made of five pieces of maple and walnut, and it's extremely fast and thin, ready for runs at any speed, and looks gorgeous with the distinct Tree of Life inlay. Your big bends and crunchy riffs down low just got that much easier to execute.
Electronically, this guitar sports 3 DiMarzio Evolution pickups - humbuckers in the bridge and neck and a single coil in the middle. These pickups are hot and responsive, perfect for retaining the harmonic qualities under heavy gain. This thing puts out rich, searing and dynamic distorted sounds and whisper-soft cleans with equal ease. Finally, the Floyd-style Edge trem system is extremely smooth, and you don't need to screw the arm in - it just pops in and out. It's easy to simply move out of the way when you don't need it, and it won't swing all over the place.
