This axe from Ibanez’s Iron Label series combines unique tonewood with the ergonomic, light-but-heavy S body. You'll fall in love with the feel of this axe after just a few minutes. The neck is very thin and fast, with totally unrestricted upper register access and a smooth fingerboard ride. Crunchy, rich and searing, the tone of this monster is perfectly suited for walls of distortion, but it knows how to clean up nicely – roll back the volume and tone for a soulful blues sound. Rock solid hardware, just enough flash in the styling and great fretwork top everything off.
Special Features
This Ibanez SIX20DBG has a mahogany body with a strange, beautiful bubinga top. Abalone body binding is a perfect match for bubinga's natural shimmer. The Nitro Wizard 3 piece maple/bubinga neck is super comfortable and fast in every position, and it’s also quite stable. You can expect a smooth and precise feel thanks to the ebony fretboard. For pickups, this axe is loaded with two DiMarzios – an Air Norton in the neck and The Tone Zone in the bridge. These pickups are hot, focused and articulate, with a nice tight low-end and singing highs.
