Player's Perspective

Despite being a renowned musical instrument manufacturer since 1892, Harmony Guitars are somehow still criminally underrated in the modern guitar world. With awesome new models like this USA-made Silhouette, we're seriously hoping that changes!

This one is one sweet axe for the offset lovers out there. It's equipped with a genuine Bigsby vibrato unit, amazing-sounding Alnico III Gold Foil pickups, and a gorgeous, sleek Slate finish, along with vintage appointments like the proprietary design knobs that instantly transport you back to the 1950s and '60s. 

The gold foil pickups are just incredible sounding. We would say they're somewhere between a Filtertron-style pickup and a humbucker, having really nice chime and clarity for shimmering chords but also a nice warmth to them. We do love them clean, but they're capable of some nice overdrive as well, being able to handle classic blues leads and rock riffs with ease. You can get a lot of tones out of this setup with just the two pickups and the single volume and tone knob.

This is definitely the ultimate indie rockers' guitar, but you'd be surprised at the music this thing can cover. We think it'd be a fine, unique addition to the collection that stands out nicely.
