Looking for the ultimate jazz guitar? Look no further than the Guild A-150 Vanguard, based off the Guild A-150 Savoy and named after the iconic New York City jazz club. This fully hollow guitar features an arched solid Spruce top with an arched flamed Maple back and sides and a classic blonde finish. Elevating the Guild hollowbody archtop offerings, the A-150 Vanguard features an elaborate design aesthetic with added binding and purfling and a large headstock that harkens the famous Guild Artist Award model. A period-correct DeArmond Rhythm Chief 1100 floating pickup completes this homage to the original jazzboxes of the 50s with its warm, quintessentially “jazz” tone that has come to define the genre as a whole. Other premium features include a bound Ebony fingerboard with Mother-of-Pearl and Abalone v-block inlays, gold Grover STA-TITE open-gear 18:1 tuners, custom bound tortoiseshell pickguard, Mother-of-Pearl chesterfield and Guild peak headstock inlays, Maple neck with Walnut center strip, Ebony floating bridge and a traditional Guild harp tailpiece. Available in Natural finish and includes hardshell case.
