Guild F-40E Acoustic Electric Guitar, Mahogany Body w/ Spruce Top, Antique Burst (B-STOCK)

Manufacturer's Description

Achieve incredible clarity, balance and volume with our jumbo-shaped F-40, made in Southern California. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides, this jumbo acoustic checks all the boxes for players who prize outstanding projection and enhanced mid-range. Its predecessor, the F-48 Navarre, was only produced from 1972 to 1976 and original versions are a rare treasure. Today’s reissue manifests the same vintage charm with timeless and tasteful appointments such as a tortoiseshell pickguard, white ABS binding, and Guild’s peak logo inlaid on the headstock. Premium materials such as an East Indian rosewood bridge and fingerboard, 20:1 open-gear tuners, and a hand-cut bone nut and saddle all match today’s standards for fine acoustics. A satin varnish finish gives this guitar its familiar broken-in look and feel, while allowing the tone woods to “breathe” and reach their sonic potential.

Each F-40 ships with a Guild archtop wood case with a built-in Humicase® humidification system. Finish options include satin varnish in Natural, or Antique Burst with Cabernet back, sides and neck. A discreet, USA-made LR Baggs Element VTC pickup is also available.

Overall Condition

This is a New B-Stock Guitar with the original box and paperwork. Guild is very picky on its product quality, a little discolored tiny spot or blemish or little finish run on the finish of the guitar. A lot of times we can't even tell what is the difference between these and the A-stock guitars, but despite any blemishes, they sound, feel, and look amazing! Photos are of the exact guitar you'll receive

Our in-house guitar tech will inspect, test, set up, and clean all of our instruments on site prior to shipping. All of our instruments are guaranteed to be fully functional upon arrival.
