Godin has done a great job at offering high-end features and vintage looks to players at a price far less than you would expect of an instrument of this caliber and appearance. This Indigo Blue example is by far one of the classiest instruments we've had in at this price point.

Being a full hollowbody, this guitar is incredibly resonant, and its acoustic voice is clear and warm with its Canadian wild cherry body and maple neck. Strummed chords especially are just divine, and this is an extremely fun guitar to jazz comp and play rhythm on. Single-note lines are great as well, of course. Electric tones are just as good, featuring a single TV Jones Classic "filtertron" humbucker in the neck position. This pickup is responsible for so many classic tones dating back to the 1950s and is instantly recognizable the moment you plug in. Its bright, jangly voice with a versatile EQ profile pairs amazingly with the volume and tone knobs. Rounding out the feature set is a Bigsby vibrato that stays in tune beautifully and allows for a wide variety of playing styles and guitar acrobatics on a relatively simple platform.
