The ASAT Classic is a straight-ahead, easy playing tone machine that offers familiar styling with subtle refinements. Woody, articulate and beefy in the mids, the tone of this axe is slightly punchier than similar designs. The pickups are responsive and focused, but they never get too bright or harsh, even on the bridge position. Clean sounds have a nice shimmer and chime, and with some distortion, this is the perfect all around blues, rock and country guitar. The neck is comfortable everywhere, and it'll feel familiar the first time you pick it up. Impeccable American craftsmanship at a reasonable price point make the ASAT Classic one of the best deals on the market.

This G&L ASAT Classic is a factory B-stock and still includes a G&L warranty. There is a very small dimple (slightly larger than a pin-head), under the clear coat, on the finish on the back of the guitar by the bottom strap button. The blemish is only really noticeable when the light hits it just right and it will not worsen or have any impact on playability or tone. The guitar has been discounted accordingly and is being offered up at an even better deal as a result of this subtle finish flaw. Photos are of the exact guitar you'll receive.
