Here's a gorgeous G&L USA Fullerton Deluxe Skyhawk HH in an out-of-this-world Andromeda finish. You don't see very many 25.5" scale-length dual-humbucker guitars that aren't outright shredders, so this Skyhawk occupies a very unique niche as something that's a little more familiar to fans of vintage-style guitars whilst being one of G&L's more contemporary stylings.

Here at the shop, we love guitars that are modern and practical with "quality of life" improvements that cater to the player, but retain the vintage tone we all love. The "modern classic" neck profile gets things off to a great start - while it's decidedly "modern" and much faster-playing than a vintage guitar would be, it has just enough meat to feel familiar and easy to transition to. The DF vibrato is a super-stable 2-point tremolo that allows a surprising amount of pitch-bending acrobatics for a traditional design.

The G&L humbuckers are traditionally-voiced, but have a good amount of punch and heft to them and are usable in all three positions both clean and with distortion. Their voicing pairs nicely with the 25.5" scale-length of the guitar to provide a warm, bright and clear tone. They have a sound that's both familiar and easy to dial in thanks to the PBT bass/treble passive control circuit. The coil-splitting on the push/pull adds even more versatility!

The Fullerton Deluxe Skyhawk™ HH delivers classic covered bucker tones kicked up a notch with pairing of a G&L AS4255C in the neck position and AW4368C at the bridge.  That’s ASAT Deluxe territory, but Skyhawk HH adds G&L’s P.T.B. System* which allows bass roll-off, a big advantage in high gain situations like cranked fuzz pedals. Plus the push/pull coil tap serves up convincing single coil tones that further expand the potential of this versatile axe.

The Fullerton Deluxe Skyhawk HH features a Leo Fender-designed Dual-Fulcrum vibrato, a work of engineering art which allows bending up or down with unsurpassed stability, while offering a silky feel through its beefy aluminum vibrato arm.

**P.T.B.-Passive Treble and Bass Controls-Dramatically more effective than a standard tone control, treble and bass frequencies can be separately cut with this exclusive passive style circuitry via two separate tone knobs.
