Here's an excellent take on the classic single-cutaway mahogany-bodied guitar made with the excellent Japanese craftsmanship of the venerable Fujigen factory. This NLS11RMP features an iconic goldtop finish on a natural mahogany back and rosewood fingerboard - an immediately recognizable combination of classy looks that have set the standard for this type of guitar for 70 years. As huge fans of Japanese instruments, we appreciated the touches of high-quality specification FGN put forth on this axe - the rock-solid and reliable Gotoh hardware across the board, the well-chosen pieces of tonewood, and the PS-3 P90 pickups that have just the right amount of vintage clarity and bite. The U-Shape mahogany neck feels reminiscent of vintage guitars whilst remaining playable for the modern player.

Item Specifics

The NLS11RMP features a tried-and-true combination of a mahogany neck and body with a rosewood fingerboard and hard maple top. This combination adds just the right amounts of warmth, brightness, bite, and clarity acoustically, which works well with the P90 pickups for an overall versatile instrument. The traditional 2-volumes, 2-tone, 3-way-toggle wiring and the Gotoh bridge, tailpiece, and vintage-style tuners round out the specification. The guitar is strung with D'Addarios and comes in a premium gig bag.
