Music Store Live is proud to offer up this gorgeous Thinline Strat from our friends over at the Fender Custom Shop department.

Obviously, when you're getting something from Fender Custom Shop, there is a very high level of expectation. But when you get a piece that is so special that it even exceeds that, you know you've got a winner. The tones out of this are smooth, warm, and lush, while still having plenty of brightness and spank to it. The neck pickup is incredibly rich and creamy, the middle gets you plenty of twang, and that bridge pup can even handle distortion very well.

The gorgeous tonewoods used on this guitar aren't just for show. The cocobolo and African blackwood combine to add punch, articulation, and some brightness to the sound of the guitar. African blackwood has a very similar tone to Brazilian rosewood and, in some ways, cocobolo does too, actually. So you get that warmth of rosewood but with the extra snap up top that Brazilian rosewood is known for. It has a very bell-like and vocal-like sound to it and the entire guitar just simply sings out beautifully.
