Music Store Live is proud to offer up this limited edition offering from Fender's Rarities collection. Here we have a hot-rodded strat with a gorgeous flame maple top and flame maple fretboard. But to make things even better, it's also got a rosewood neck, which is probably one of our favorite neck woods ever.
The sound will be everything you know and love from a Strat. You get the added benefit of the humbucker in the bridge for a fatter, meatier, and more aggressive tone that sounds awesome with some distortion on it. The S-1 switch also gives you additional pickup options and immense variety for the sonic pallet that this guitar gives you.
The neck, as we mentioned before, is one of our favorites. The feeling of the rosewood neck is awesome and it'll wear in and break in wonderfully as you play it like a pair of fine Italian leather boots. You don't often find rosewood necks paired with a maple fretboard but the combination really works. It's a beautiful balance of warmth and brightness, in terms of how it sounds. It's a true joy for your fretting hand.

The Rarities Flame Maple Top Stratocaster features a two-piece alder body with a flame maple Golden Brown top and a solid rosewood neck capped with a flame maple fingerboard. The Pure Vintage 65 Strat pickups add a classic voice to the more modern, custom DoubleTap™ bridge pickup which offers both a sweet humbucking voice and—via an S-1™ switch a dynamic single-coil sound.

We matched a custom DoubleTap humbucking bridge pickup with two vintage-inspired Pure Vintage 65 single-coil pickups for a twist on classic Fender tone.
