We're stoked to present this awesome Fender Custom Shop John 5 Signature Telecaster! Now here's something truly outlandish in the best way possible. Like the iconic guitarist himself, this axe is a little bit weird, a little bit off-kilter, and completely pure unadulterated badass.

Start with the funky-looking 3x3 headstock - that's sure to get your audience's attention. John 5 chose this design to headline an instrument that will stand out from the rest and look the coolest of the cool on stage. It's based on the relatively obscure Fender Maverick model from the late 60s, a truly unique guitar with a certain mojo and vibe that carries over onto the John 5 Tele. The Chrome pickguard is extremely eye-catching as well, and it blends with the finish of the neck pickup for an aesthetically pleasing look. Beyond that, the Modern C neck profile with a nice, easy 12" radius and excellent Fender Custom Shop fretwork is fast, smooth, and easily navigable for cheeky licks and riffs.

Now onto the funky electronic layout. You have a 3-way toggle switch for pickup switching in the Tele Deluxe position, but things start to go off the rails with individual volume controls for each pickup instead of a master volume and tone. This was done to gain an endless amount of tonal combinations with the switch in the middle position, and we think it sounds incredible! The neck pickup is a Twisted Tele neck pickup, which is a modern take on a Tele neck that also features the spank and "tubbiness" of a Strat pickup for the best of both worlds. The Fender Enforcer bridge humbucker is also an experience to behold, being a "hot" pickup with plenty of output for singing saturation, but also cleans up really beautifully with the volume knob.
