Player's Perspective

This LTD KH-602 may be on the more affordable side for a Kirk Hammett signature ESP, but it's 100% the real deal in terms of its feel and beastly tone. You don't have to be a big Metallica fan to appreciate this guitar either!

The neck is comfortable and thin, and just begs for you to fly up and down throught. Hammett's signature EMG pickups pump out some serious tone that will hit the front end of any amp very hard, and it can handle any amount of saturation and distortion you can fathom throwing at it. A true shredder's playground, this guitar is the cream of the crop, both in its price range and overall, among axes that ooze metal and hard rock.

The LTD KH-602 is a Kirk Hammett Signature Series guitar that offers just about everything that its higher-end cousin, the ESP KH-2, does, at a price that more musicians can afford. Check it out: the KH-602 features neck-thru-body construction, with a comfortable alder body, a three-piece extra-thin U-shaped maple neck, Macassar Ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets and Kirk's skull-and-bones inlays, and components that include a Floyd Rose bridge and a set of EMG Kirk Hammett Bone Breaker Signature pickups. It's a powerful guitar designed for professional recording and live performance, perfect for any serious player of intense music.
