Music Store Live is proud to offer up this beautiful 7-string shredder from ESP's USA factory here in California. The M-7 is a powerhouse and, to give it a sound that matches, we had ESP equip this with some hot EMG active pickups for a thoroughly rock-ready tone.

The build quality is excellent. The neck is thin and even if you're new to extended range guitars, it shouldn't take long to get used to. It's definitely designed, from top to bottom, to be a hard-rockin' shredder's axe. The action right out of the box is low and the playability is super easy with these. The bridge pickup has a searing tone and can handle any amount of gain or saturation that you can throw at it. The neck is also aggressive but also has some nice warmth for beautiful melodic solos.

Made by some of ESP's best luthiers, the guitars they're cranking out in their North Hollywood factory are nothing short of thoroughly impressive.

Crafted at our ESP USA facility in Southern California, the USA M-7 Hardtail is an amazingly high-quality solution for everyone who wants the power and precision of a hardtail bridge in a 7-string guitar. The USA M-7 Hardtail offers an extra thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck with natural satin finish for the smoothest and fastest playing experience. Optional premier-quality figured-wood tops are available on the USA M-7 Hardtail including flamed maple, quilted maple, lacewood, zebrawood, and koa, with a variety of amazing translucent gloss and satin finishes to choose from, as well as both maple and ebony fingerboards with offset abalone dot inlays, and a killer reverse headstock.

The parts and components on the USA M-7 Hardtail are second to none and include 24 extra-jumbo Jescar stainless steel frets, a Hipshot fixed hardtail bridge, a bone nut, Sperzel Trimlok tuners, and Dunlop strap locks. The USA M-7 Hardtail includes a high-quality ESP USA form-fitting hardshell case.

This guitar comes equipped with active EMG pickups for a modern tone that matches this instrument's modern looks.
