The USA ESP's are top notch and you can feel it right away when you pick this bad boy up. The fretwork is silky smooth, the action is freakishly low, and all the notes ring out and sing with seemingly infinit sustain.
This guitar comes equipped with a versatile set of Duncan Custom and Jazz pickups. They can handle clean sound as well as striving with some gain and distortion. They are articulate and defined while still having the ability to give you a taste of vintage sweetness, too.

Crafted at our ESP USA facility in Southern California, the USA M-7 Hardtail is an amazingly high-quality solution for everyone who wants the power and precision of a hardtail bridge in a 7-string guitar. The USA M-7 Hardtail offers an extra thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck with natural satin finish for the smoothest and fastest playing experience. Optional premier-quality figured-wood tops are available on the USA M-7 Hardtail including flamed maple, quilted maple, lacewood, zebrawood, and koa, with a variety of amazing translucent gloss and satin finishes to choose from, as well as both maple and ebony fingerboards with offset abalone dot inlays, and a killer reverse headstock.
The parts and components on the USA M-7 Hardtail are second to none, and include 24 extra-jumbo Jescar stainless steel frets, a Hipshot fixed hardtail bridge, a bone nut, Sperzel Trimlok tuners, a Dunlop strap locks, and your choice of Seymour Duncan Custom/Jazz or EMG 81-7XH/85-7XH pickup sets, with a push-pull coil split control on the tone knob for passive pickup models. The USA M-7 Hardtail includes a high-quality ESP USA form-fitting hard shell case.
Graphite Neck Reinforcement Bars
Get maximum strength and stability from your guitar’s neck, with higher long-term reliability. All ESP USA models are made with two high-strength bars of carbon fiber.
Deep Dish Jack
In addition to looking sleek, the Deep Dish jack installed on ESP USA models has the added benefit of providing the depth and angle of the cable to be easily looped around the player’s strap to better protect the cable from crimps or other damage.
