The Steve Morse BFR embodies the spirit and tone of Steve's playing in a way that all serious players can understand. This "Y2D" edition of the guitar is totally unique: It sports a black limba body and a buckeye burl top for both a uniquely striking look as well as a distinct tone that is smooth and warm but also defined and cutting. You can wrench everything from thick and creamy neck position tones to raunchy overdriven lead tones that cut like a knife. The neck feel is perfectly seamless, while still having some heft to it.
