A unique take on a timeless design, this guitar has its own character while looking like a classic rock machine. All of the wonderful playability and immaculate construction that have put Duesenberg at the forefront of the boutique guitar world can be found in this guitar. Tonally we've got a Domino P90 in the neck position for rich and creamy lead lines while keeping the GrandVintage humbucker in the bridge to handle more aggressive and distorted tones. This pickup combination can shine with clean tones as well as distorted. This guitar was built for some good old fashioned classic rock, but it's got so much more versatility than that under the hood as well.

This is yet another simple and elegant design that won't get in your way and literally makes playing easier and more enjoyable. With a guitar that inspires you to pick it up and makes it so you'll never want to put it down, there's no telling where the ceiling of progress can be pushed to.

The Starplayer TV is a semi-hollow, dual pickup, 22 fret electric guitar, featuring arched top and back, bent sides and a 647mm scale.

The distinctive arched spruce top and elegant flamed maple arched back have elevated the TV to one of the finest guitars in the world. Even being such a versatile instrument, it always retains its discreet character and enriches every type or style of music with its distinct Duesenberg sound. It will remind you of the time when Rock & Roll was still young.

For the cutting leads and heavy riffs, we took our own classically wound GrandVintage Humbucker and paired it with our open Domino P90 for airy chords and creamy licks. The middle position of both pickups features a special wiring, which splits certain low-end frequencies out of the humbucker signal, resulting in an open and extremely versatile addition to your pallet of sounds.
If you decide for the Starplayer TV+ variation, you get an additional Piezo Pickup which can be blended with the original signal from your magnetic pickups to achieve an even wider range of tone.
The Rebound charity edition sets you up with rhythm focused Duesenberg Little Toaster Pickups.

All our instruments are fitted with our own hardware, which you will only find on a Duesenberg. We design it with attention to even the smallest details to create truly unique instruments from tuner buttons to jack plates.

All our fretboards are carefully plek'd and finished by hand for optimum playability and the smooth feel they are famous for.
Additionally, our Diamond Deluxe Tremola proved to be one of the best of its kind, providing buttery operation and outstanding tuning stability.

The Starplayer TV is available in a variety of different, durable PUR or acrylic finishes from standard colours like high-gloss Black or Vintage White, to more extreme approaches like our crocodile tolex Outlaw model or the Mother-of-Pearl mosaic series.

The original P90 in a Humbucker format
The Domino is the result of our efforts to create a real P90 in a Humbucker housing. Already in the 70's of the past century, Duesenberg founder Dieter Gölsdorf set out to design a pickup which not only replicates the unique tone of real P90, but can also be fitted inside a regular Humbucker cover to make it more compatible with all kinds of guitars. After long nights of testing, analyzing and putting together all kinds of variations, the result of his studies was called the Domino. We think it's a perfect interpretation of what makes a good P90 pickup.

The Domino acts as a perfect counterpart to our classic GrandVintage humbucker in the neck position of many of our instruments. In parts, it's also responsible for the typical Duesenberg flexibility in tone, attack and dynamics.

GRANDVINTAGE HUMBUCKER: A balanced premium Humbucker with an even frequency band and a classic voicing.

Developed and fine-tuned for years - now a benchmark for a classic and raw humbucker tone. The GrandVintage is used in many of our guitars. It became famous and celebrated under the hands of many world class acts as a tone master in the bridge position of our Starplayer TV model. It has its roots in the classic PAF type pickups but ups the game with an open German Silver cover for unrestricted treble response. We also added special high-quality components for the baseplate and coil wire - we think you're going to love it!
