This is the signature axe for Swedish shredder Mattias IA Eklundh and while the frets look all squiggly on it, there is no adjustment needed from your normal playing style to navigate this beauty. Just play as you normally would and enjoy staying in tune all the way up and down the neck, and on every string, the way you never have before. To add to the uniqueness of this one, the pickup selector is the push/push volume knob. When pressed down, you're on the bridge pickup, when depressed, you're on the neck pickup. Simple and straight forwarded.

Handmade in Japan, you can really feel the attention to detail in every aspect of this gorgeous instrument. It's simple and understated, yet it is sure to grab the attention of bandmates and audience members alike. The feel is simply extraordinary on this guitar and, of course, the tone is nothing short of incendiary and searing hot. Of course, as per the entire point of the true tempered frets, the intonation is immaculate.

Every detail of this guitar is exquisite, from the electronics to the craftsmanship. The action is quite low right out of the box, the trem has spot-on intonation, and the neck feels exquisite. This is a serious axe to add to any shredder's arsenal.

Updated with a Charcoal Black Matt finish, FU-Tone 8 string bridge and Stainless Steel True Temperament frets, the Caparison Apple Horn 8 is, in our humble opinion, the pinnacle of extreme guitar design. The Walnut and Mahogany tone wood composite body helps to maintain that essential note definition needed when dealing with avant-garde guitar tunings. The highs remain crystal clear with a distinctive bell-like midrange and the low notes are tight yet thunderous.

The fast and comfortable hand finished, beautiful 5-piece maple/walnut neck, offers up security for its extensive size. In addition, two titanium rods were built into the neck, eliminating any chance of warping and increasing the guitar’s strength, stability and performance. Add to this the 27 fret Stainless Steel True Temperament system on a select Ebony fingerboard and the exacting harmonics that this guitar produces sing out in perfect intonation.
