MANUFACTURER'S DESCRIPTION

Introducing the Leonardo Dual Output - a game-changing baritone guitar born from three years of meticulous study by Italian craftsman Bruno Bacci. Designed in the heart of Tuscany, this guitar pushes the boundaries of contemporary music by unleashing unconventional tones and limitless creativity, all while delivering unmatched playability, beauty, and quality.

One of its standout features is the second output, exclusively dedicated to the bass pickup and located on the baritone's three bass strings. This unique innovation unlocks a world of richer, deeper sounds, inspiring new playing techniques and endless musical possibilities.

Bridge: The original Bacci T-Style brass bridge adds a distinctive element to the Leonardo Funk Machine. The strings pass over the bridge in the traditional Telecaster style, then go through holes in the body and are secured by a metal peg inserted into the body that firmly holds the ball end of the string in place. The bridge is adorned with a beautiful and unique concentric inlay, and it is hand-finished. The bridge features three compensated brass saddles.

Pickups: Bruno Bacci designed all the pickups in the Leonardo range in collaboration with Dreamsongs Pickups, an Italian company known for its exceptional manufacturing capabilities. For the Leonardo Funk Machine, Dreamsongs™ Pickups created a set of Gold Foil-Style pickups that capture the brilliance of sound without sacrificing depth. They've also developed Modern bass pickups that excel at capturing the sound of the fourth, fifth, and sixth strings for the instrument's second output.

Dual Output: What inspired a second release of the Leonardo Funk Machine? While the baritone guitar already has a lower register than a standard guitar, Bruno Bacci's innovation has taken this instrument to new heights in the realm of sound. By connecting the second output to a bass amp, the fourth, fifth, and sixth strings resonate with a depth that emulates a bass guitar, amplifying both its volume and amplitude.

Headstock: The Leonardo Funk Machine boasts a headstock with a distinctively asymmetrical shape that  complements the contours of the body. The 9-degree angle of the headstock has been  engineered to impart the ideal balance of tension and vibration to the instrument, further enhanced by the precision of Hipshot's Open Back tuning machines, ensuring pitch-perfect performance. A bone nut adds the perfect finishing touch, this guitar is a masterpiece of design and function.

Construction: The lightweight Alder body seamlessly merges with a figured maple neck, creating an instrument that feels like a natural extension of the body.

Scale: Our custom 29.75" scale length enables a broad spectrum of low frequencies. Our 13/72 strings, supplied by DOGAL, a renowned Italian handmade strings company, are finely tuned to complement these attributes.

Fine Tuning: Crafted by the skilled hands of Bruno Bacci, every instrument is meticulously assembled and fine-tuned to perfection whilest the tension and intonation are adjusted to ensure optimal vibration and precise sound definition.

Hardshell Case: All Bacci cases are custom-made and feature a retro colouring and steel Bacci logo.
