So when we looked into it a bit further, we realized these were super cool and high-end guitars that are a bit different than the average stuff out there; and we're all about that! We struck up a friendship with James (founder and builder) and now that we finally have gotten our hands on these guitars, we couldn't be happier. This is the Dark Matter edition with a 3x3 tuner configuration at the headstock.

The feel is awesome! Obviously, with an aluminum neck, you'll never have to worry about readjusting your action. It's set it and forget it. The entire guitar is impervious to the usual things (mainly humidity) that can wreak havoc on wood. The neck feels super comfortable and it's lightning fast to rip on. The action is super low on the guitar, and again, you can leave it that way since you don't have to worry about the neck shifting or moving around on you. The playability is off the charts. Smooth and buttery with minimal effort required.

The tone is awesome! They use Lollar Imperial pickups that sound absolutely heavenly. Jason Lollar is one of the best pickup builders in the game and these are boutique and very high-end. Perfect for the rocker that still needs a touch of vintage to their tone, this guitar delivers that in spades! It can sound smooth, rich, and creamy, especially on the neck pickup. You can also dial up all the distortion and gain you want, flip to the bridge pickup, and the tone remains articulate and defined without being too harsh and brittle. They say that the Lucite body produces an extended midrange response, and that's definitely noticeable when you start to add some distortion to the tone. That midrange is what keeps your notes punchy and tight even as you saturate the tone. It's really awesome!
