We present to you another gorgeous Japanese-made Yamaha acoustic guitar, this time from the venerable Red Label series! This FGX5 is a classic dreadnought with all solid woods, vintage aesthetics and contemporary Japanese build quality and innovation. 

Aside from the tried-and-true tonewood combination of a mahogany back, sides, neck and a Sitka spruce top, the awesome A.R.E. treatment is essentially a torrefaction ("roasting") of the top to accelerate the "aging" of the wood over time. This process makes it much more resonant and lively. The old adage that acoustics just sound better and better over time isn't just a myth, it's factually proven - and this method has got it down to a science.
