"Synyster" Looks And Killer Sound

The Synyster Gates Standard is a more affordable version of the Synyster Gates Custom. This features the same wicked looks of the Avenged Sevenfold guitarist's signature model, but with a few different components, such as a bolt-on mahogany neck rather than a set neck, a rosewood fretboard in place of ebony, and Duncan HB-108 humbuckers rather than the custom Invaders on the Custom model. You still get the "SYN" and DeathBat inlays, a Floyd Rose tremolo, and the awesome gloss black finish with silver pinstripes.

The Synyster Gates Standard is based on the Avenger body shape, a long-time winner. The black finish and silver pinstripes are both killer and classy, with black hardware and binding to top it off. Custom "SYN" inlays and the the "Deathbat" at the 12th fret make it even better, for a unique and striking instrument.

Grover Tuners

ROTOMATICS WITH 18:1 GEAR RATIO (102-18 SERIES) The original Rotomatic with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination.

Rosewood Finger Board

The most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.

Duncan Designed HB-108 Detonater Pickups

The HB-108 is called the Detonator and is based on the high-output, Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader. Ultra high output humbucker built for aggressive playing styles. Recommended for punk, garage, thrash, metal and other heavy rock styles.

Maple Neck

Maple has a uniform grain, it's strong and stable, and it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. Its tone is highly reflective, and focuses more energy onto the body wood. Maple transfers a bright tone to the body which complements the warm tones of a mahogany body.

Floyd Rose Special Tremolo Bridge

The Floyd Rose Special is the Authentic version of a licensed Floyd Rose tremolo system manufactured in Korea exclusively for Floyd Rose. The Floyd Rose Special maintains the construction parameters and features of an Original Floyd Rose, while utilizing zinc alloy saddles in place of steel and a zinc alloy sustain block in place of brass.
