Player's Perspective

G&L's Tribute series Fallout is a rock machine through and through, and it won't cost you your mortgage to get it. Based on the infamous SC-2 from the '80's, this guitar has a unique musical personality and an interesting tonal profile. It has a retro vibe, but with modern functionality. You can get as shredtastic as you want, and both the sound and the neck will keep up with you. Once you've had your fill, you can jump to the opposite end of the electric guitar spectrum with the flip of a switch. The punchy mids will sound great in a lightly distorted blues setting and it cleans up nicely for pop, country or surf. The neck is very comfortable and feels quite natural - G&L doesn't douse their necks with gobs of finish. This is a great guitar for an incredible price, and it's ready for years of dutiful service.

Item Details

This G&L Tribute Fallout is a re-imagination of the infamous SC-2 from the '80's. It features a mahogany body with a Fullerton Red finish, giving it a definite surf/retro vibe. The neck is maple, and it features a rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A P-90 pickup in the neck position and a humbucker in the bridge offer a huge palette of tones to work with. We love the straightforward, modern/retro vibe of this guitar, and we're sure you'll enjoy it for many years to come.
