This guitar has a vintage look, but make no mistake that this isn't your granddaddy's strat. The roasted alder body helps give the guitar an open and airy sound that is subtle, but a really cool enhancement over the traditional non-roasted alder bodies that we all know so well. Roasting the maple neck just makes it feel incredible on your fretting hand along with helping with the rigidity and stability of the neck. The combination of all that roasting seems to make for a guitar that can sustain for days and you can really feel the resonance of every note you play all the way up and down the neck and through the body.

The SSCII noise reduction system gives you silent circuitry (that's right! No more messy 60-cycle hum when soloing a single coil pickup) while still preserving a true single coil tone. The single coil pickups have a refined vintage sound to them. The humbucker is thick and meaty sounding while still giving you tons of bite on the top-end. Vintage Strats can tend to have very thin and shrill sounding bridge pickups, but not this bad boy! It's a truly versatile strat that can get you the sounds from yesteryear while also being applicable to modern music or heavier music without requiring you to switch instruments! That bridge pickup can handle any amount of distortion you care to throw at it. It will cut through even the densest of mixes so you can be heard the way you want to be and your tone won't suffer.

The compound radius fretboard makes the playability effortless and stainless steel frets ensure that you can own this guitar for decades without having to worry about getting it re-fretted. The 60's inspired neck shape feels extremely comfortable, especially on that roasted neck. It's not toothpick-thin but also is far from being chunky. It's a true playground for your fretting hand and will feel instantly familiar while also unlocking new playing potential from being built so perfectly.
