The for 2020 updated Boden Fusion NT features chambered Alder body wings, solid Flame Maple top, Roasted Maple neck-thru-body, and Pau Ferro fretboard for a warm, rich and full-sounding tone that can cut through any mix with a focused punch that is characteristic of the neck-thru-body construction. Our new .strandberg* Fusion passive pickups in HSH configuration with the HSX push-pull tone pot circuit provide a plethora of high-gain humbucker and crystal clean single-coil sounds with distinct musicality that are suitable for virtually all playing styles and musical genres.

What does it do?

Besides the amazing playability and comfort, the Boden Fusion Neck-Thru delivers a wide palette of musical sounds with a distinct sonic character due to its neck-thru-body construction. Compared to the bolt-on, the sound is punchier and more focused with enhanced sustain. The woods were carefully selected and matched to maximize the natural acoustic characteristics of the design and construction. Alder’s warm and full midrange made it ideal for the chambered body wings. Combined with the 5-ply carbon fiber reinforced Roasted Maple neck-thru-body, solid Flame Maple top and Pau Ferro fretboard which provide rigidity, focus and upper midrange brilliance, the Fusion Neck-Thru has an exceptionally balanced acoustic character with a strong emphasis on the midrange. The .strandberg* Fusion bridge and neck humbuckers and the Fusion middle single-coil with special 5-way wiring and the exclusive HSX circuit activated by a push-pull tone pot deliver an incredibly wide spectrum of great humbucker and single-coil sounds.
