Mesa Boogie's CabClone is one of those every-so-often industry innovations that can easily become an essential part of your rig. The idea is simple: This little box is a passive cabinet simulator. It provides a direct interface of your guitar amp's speaker output to the input of a mixing console, mic preamp or even direct to a recorder - with or without a cabinet. This little box can eliminate the need for a mic in front of your cab when you play live, and it can simplify your recording life immensely. There's also a compensated headphone driver, so you practice with the real sound of your favorite amp whenever and wherever you want. Select vintage, open back or closed back cab sound.
