Along with a buckeye burl top, we customized this one a bit further by adding a tone knob and getting knob covers that matched the top of the guitar. The neck on this 7-string is super comfortable and will require little-to-no adjustment if you're a 6-string slinger. It's pretty easy to shred up and down the neck no matter whether you're down by the nut or up high trying to reach the highest frets.

The low-B is tight, punchy, and really brings the thunder. It doesn't have any of that wobbliness that you can sometimes encounter. Flying up and down the neck is a breeze and whether you're playing chords, ripping lead-lines, or using both hands to do some fancy fretboard tapping, you'll find this guitar to be super expressive and the notes just jump right out with minimal effort. Plus the craftsmanship is so good that you can really get shredder-level low action with ease.

The Bare Knuckle coldsweat and nailbomb pickups that we chose for this guitar are aggressive and can handle any amount of saturation you throw at them. These are geared with the modern-day shredder in mind but absolutely still maintains some vintage goodness in with the nailbomb pickup. It's a wonderful combination that lets you get tight and punchy bass response out the neck pickup with a bridge tone that can handle saturation with ease but still dabbles lightly in that vintage tonal pallet. It makes for a tremendously useful guitar that, undoubtedly, leans towards having a more overwound tone.

While still keeping the controls simple for this one, we decided to add a tone knob just to give that much more flexibility to the tones at your fingertips. The wooden covers for the knobs are a nice classy touch that we figured "why the heck not?" as a nice little ribbon on the entire package.
