The modern 16" radius ebony fretboard and earthy-feeling Wenge neck plays lighting-fast up and down the neck and feels incredible in the hand, as with every Mayones instrument we have in. The bare wood-feeling Wenge back in particular is a truly unique playing experience, as your hands seemingly glide over it effortlessly.

The combination of Hipshot locking tuners and hardtail bridge offers supreme tuning stability, while the custom-wound, Mayones-exclusive Bare Knuckle TKO pickup set, while designed for high-gain chug in conjunction with the guitar's baritone scale length, surprised the players here at the shop with their awesome clarity on clean settings, especially with the coil-split on the volume control. Of course, the TKOs excelled the most at distorted riffage, and we were very pleased with how both single notes and chords sounded huge without getting muddy. This especially rings true for this guitar and its long-scale construction, and the combination of tonewoods and the TKO pickups keep the gain extremely tight even in low drop tunings.
